 MY MUSE 18x24" I absolutely love painting abstract realism! Combining realistic aspects and abstract elements is so interesting to me. Mainly because there are NO RULES.
MY MUSE is based on a photograph of my wife from nearly two decades ago. We are still together, and she is still a beauty! I've got additional photos and, without a doubt, more art will be created featuring my muse. I am a fortunate artist to have such a muse! MY MUSE was the second mixed media piece I did that was finished with oils. This painting along with the first painting (see it here) that I finished with oils.
