Post-impressionist style on an 8x10” canvas board - painted with water mixable oils.
Since I have a stack of these smaller canvas boards, I decided to paint a landscape you can see here. I'll eventually use the water mixable oils up that I have, but I won't buy more of them. Why? Because I prefer the buttery consistency of traditional oil paint. While I like the fact these can be cleaned up with water, these water mixable oils get stickier the longer they are on the pallette. I don't have these panel paintings listed here on the site yet, I'm waiting to paint more and put them up en masse along with some mixed media and acrylic pieces. The 8x10's will be priced at $100. and the 9x12's will be priced at $125. including shipping within the USA. These panels will need to be framed, without glass covering them. Watercolors and drawings should the only art you put behind glass.
