AFTERGLOW was created in 2023 by Michigan artist Shelly Taylor. This original mixed media piece includes a variety of acrylics, and mediums and is finished with oil paint.
AFTERGLOW was one of the first pieces using a different approach to add more abstraction to my work. Here's your chance to grab an early version of my abstract realism work. My art will become more abstract over time.
She was created on a heavy-duty gallery canvas (1-1/2" deep) that doesn't need to be framed. The sides of the canvas are painted solid black giving it a floating feeling when it's hung. The piece will be varnished with Gamvar before it's shipped out.
