I love Crows and Ravens, all corvids really! This image was burned by hand onto a 12x12" hard maple panel. Pyrography with this level of realistic detail is fine art. This piece was intense to create and took many sessions.
The original pyrographic panel is ready to hang and is mounted in a black floater frame.

I'm sure I'll produce more artwork featuring crows in the future, in the form of paintings. BUT... I will say that I will NOT do such a detailed piece of pyrographic art featuring a bird quite like this again anytime soon. Burning images with this level of detail onto wood is an incredibly tedious process. There's little room for errors when it comes to pyro work. Pyrographic work at this level takes many hours and is mentally intense! I generally spend anywhere between 15 and 40 hours on each of these creations this size.
