This piece was created on a heavy-duty canvas. Prior to painting, the entire canvas surface was textured with modeling paste, which makes painting over it difficult - yet the end result is that it adds much more interest. The gallery canvas is 1.5" deep, the sides are painted black (no framing necessary) which gives it a floating look when it's hung. A wire hanger on the back means it'll be ready for you to hang upon arrival.
I've never lived in town, yet I have always found urban street scenes fascinating. Because of that fact, there will be more street scene art for me in the future.
